BEGINNERS MIND GAMELAN
plays with instruments of the GAMELAN ANGKLUNG, a 4 toned Balinese Gamelan brought  back from the village of  TEGES KANGINAN in  Bali, Indonesia.

MINDIA DEVI
has studied and played Gamelan over the years in America, as a member of the  premeier US Balinese Gamelan group SEKAR JAYA
and in Bali primarily under world renown gamelan leader and teacher, the late I Made Gerindem.

Mindia is a Fulbright Scholar of Balinese Music & Culture, a composer and musician who has led cultural journeys and workshops to Bali. She is also an Indian classical bansuri  flutist and a jazz flutist.
